Mrs. Castro has wanted to be a teacher since she was in the second grade. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies at California State University, Sacramento, and her teaching credential and Master's degree in Teaching Mathematics at California State University, San Bernardino. She has been teaching at the Bridge since 2016 and has taught all three integrated math courses and financial literacy. 

 

Mrs. Castro served as the assistant softball coach during her first two years of teaching at Bridge and helped lead the team to earn first in the league both years and advance to CIF. She hopes to get back to coaching someday once her kids are a bit older.
