Safe Talk is a three-hour training that prepares participants to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. Most people with thoughts of suicide invite help to stay safe. People who participate in this training will be able to identify people who have thoughts of suicide and move beyond common tendencies to miss, dismiss or avoid suicide. They will be able to apply the TALK steps (Tell, Ask, Listen, KeepSafe) to connect a person with thoughts of suicide to a suicide first aid intervention caregiver.”
